A fitness professional and retired triathlete, Kimberly has spoken on health for TEDx and other organisations throughout India. Shah was 13th in the world in sprint distance triathlon and for several years All-American in her sport. She was competed and won several triathlon races throughout the world. She moved to India to help change the fitness industry and being part of this league and team is part of helping make this change.
Kimberly's thoughts on joining the team: Sports can play a fundamental part in a person's life from childhood and throughout their life. Women here don't have as much opportunity when it comes to sports andI wanted to be part of an organisation who provides that outlet to women. It is an honour to get to work with successful and strong women. Being part of a team like football, you learn to help support each other and work together for something great.
Having sports in my life was essential in my life. Sports helped me become the person I am today, it forged my career and is the reason where I am today. I enjoy the entire process of phases from the planning, training, racing and crossing the finish line. Being competitive, sports have taught me how to loose gracefully and how to important it is to have that in order to improve oneself.
